Natalie is currently completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education at Western Connecticut State University with a concentration in classical trumpet. During her time at Westconn, she performed with the pit orchestra, wind ensemble, symphonic band, orchestra, trumpet ensemble, jazz ensemble and jazz orchestra.
Right now, she is in the middle of her student teaching internship at the intermediate school and high school in Naugatuck and is also on the Naugatuck Marching Band staff as a visual and musical instructor.
Natalie strives to make her classroom fun and inclusive for everyone, letting the kids dictate their own pace and most of their own repertoire so they are engaged and interested. She is excited to work alongside other amazing teachers who share her love for teaching music and hopes to pass on her passion to her students!
