Young Childrens Summer Class 2012

The Southbury Music Studio is excited to announce, in coordination with Eniko Jonas, Director and teacher of Little Voices Music Together, our summer session of Young Children’s Music and Movement Class! This class is an exploration of music, movement, and instrumentation geared toward Preschoolers and Kindergarteners. This class will help your child achieve basic music competence, like singing in tune and keeping a steady beat.

The students will learn and explore the elements of music through various mediums. They will learn about rhythm and tonality through fun songs and movements. Children will also get to experience new instruments like drums, triangles, bells, piano, and glockenspiel! The class will explore age appropriate music theory as well. What better way to introduce your child to music than to have them share their experience with others!

This Class is 6 sessions long. It will meet on Mondays and Thursdays for 3 weeks, starting July 30th and running to August 16th.

Classes will be 45 minutes long starting at 11:00. Price is $130 which includes a CD of songs for students to enjoy at home.

Fall Music and Movement class beginning!

Early Childhood Music and Movement class is starting again for Fall on Thursday Sept 22nd at 1:00. For ages 4-6. Children will learn and explore all the elements of Music. Everything from singing, clapping, keeping a steady beat and exploring different instruments. Classes are every Thursday from 1 to 1:45. Class runs for 10 weeks. The price is $200.
